PROJECTS:

E-Commerce Project

PD Project

Z-CHAN

E-COMMERCE WEBSITE PROJECT

Z-Chan is one of my web development projects I build here at Road2Hire. I chose this project to showcase my technical skills not only because this project served as a refresher to the html and css concepts I already knew, but it introduced me to design techniques I haven't used before like the CSS Grid technique. I'd say the biggest challenge of this project was time and actually getting started. For this particular project, procastination was a huge struggle. I'd say this project influences my goals to become a better front-end developer in the sense that it serves as a marker for where I am and where I need to be. While, the project is good there's alot I can still work on such my responsive design skills.

Road Talks

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

For Professional Development, I chose Road Talks as the project I wanted to showcase because for myself personally, public speaking was something that happened once every full moon! Road Talks are given to practice and measure our ability to relay our message to audience in the most effective and professional ways possible. My struggles for this Road Talk included making eye contact with the camera and refraining from using filler words, but my biggest shortcoming was that I went over time by 8 minutes; the desired time is five to seven minutes, and mine was fifteen! In order to show my improvement, I have a seconday clip of me giving the same RoadTalk, but within the required time. I feel that these Road Talks serve as great assets for helping me reach my goal of becoming a better and more maketable front-end developer, as they want a developer that not only can come up with technical solutions, but can effectively communicate those solutions.
